I was born in Charleston and raised in Goose Creek.  After competing in many vocal competitions and graduating from Goose Creek High School, I was led to Florida State University where I majored in vocal performance and completed additional studies in church music. I have served in ministry positions for 33 years leading music and serving as church administrator for 18 of those years.  I am a national certified church business administrator.
