As a young girl growing up, my family spent many nights and weekends working on purchased rental properties for extra family income. My parents felt it was important for my brother and I to learn how to update and create old beat up four-plexes and small one bedroom houses into beautiful living spaces. I learned to paint, rip out tile floors, re-tile, wallpaper, sheetrock and many other tricks of the trade and became pretty good at it!
