    Hi Brent, I appreciate your feedback and regret that there was a disconnect in our communication. My goal has always been to provide the best service possible, and I want to address some key points. As the listing agent, I managed the full marketing process—including professional photos, open houses, MLS exposure, and advertising your listing in front of the industry professionals during the meeting at the Sacramento Association of Realtors. Additionally, I personally invested over $2,000 in staging to enhance the property’s appeal, as I didn’t want to list the home in a way that might hinder its marketability. Our initial plan was to assess engagement and consider a price adjustment if necessary. After three weeks without significant traction, I reminded you of our prior agreement to revisit pricing, but you chose not to proceed with a reduction. At that point, I removed the staging items as previously discussed. However, when I returned for an open house, I found that additional staging had been done by another agent while I was still the exclusive listing agent, which is a serious ethical concern. Throughout the process, I was not consulted about broker opens, first-time homebuyer seminars, or other agents being brought in to stage the property—I was only informed about them at the last minute. Flooring modifications were also made without prior notice. These decisions impacted the overall strategy and communication. That said, I’m glad you were ultimately able to sell your home.
