Born and raised in Redondo Beach, he spent his youth exploring the beach communities and embracing the sun-loving, warm-welcoming Southern California lifestyle. After graduating from RUHS he went on to the University of Southern California where he played Div. 1 basketball and earned his B.A. in psychology with a minor in business.
