When I first met the tenant he read the lease in detail because he wanted to make sure it allowed his two dogs and a cat. His wife and/or girlfriend was not a party to the lease. He willingly filled out an application for renting the property which included required information on income, employment and a credit check. The property was not maintained. Neighbors called and complained to the township about the grass. The tenant's lease is expiring soon. He is now being evicted and is retaliating.
