In 2011, Kento left the Valley Isle to attend Pepperdine University and perform as an elite student-athlete. There, he played four years of Division 1 college tennis for the university's Top 10 NCAA program. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Kento straightaway began traveling the world as a professional tennis player.
