Yes, when Chaffin Real Estate took over your lease we did quarterly inspections. This should have been done by the previous company that handled your lease as well. This is a service provided for the owner of the property. Initially your inspection reports were fine, but they gradually began to show issues. The first was tall weeds in the front yard, yard maintenance is tenant responsibility. The home owner drove by on one occasion and told us about it. The other was your cats, you were not permitted to have any cats and you had several. When the home began to smell of cat urine we notified the owner. She then wanted to see the house for herself. When you moved out, the home was left very dirty with trash and debris left behind. We were charged $500 for cleanup and dumping. The carpet and tile smelled of cat urine and the home needed to be cleaned. There is still an outstanding balance owed for all the clean up we had to do.
