Our ad for this home was very clear! It absolutely stated we will consider only one small pet. This lady responded in writing to the ad and did not answer any of the questions except one: "Do you have any pets"? Her answer was "1 dog". I called her to find out what kind of dog and how big it was, also to do a screening interview! She advised me that she has 2 LARGE dogs. I explained, we simply do not accept more than one small dog in the home (we have new hardwood floors)! When I told her we only will consider one small pet, she became upset and belligerent. I suppose she had a bad day and several landlords had rejected her. Lord knows I was excited to the possibility of finding a tenant! I am sorry this has happened but I am glad we found out about her (and the big dogs) before she moved in!
