I started my RE journey in 2012 with my family purchasing our first REO property. With that home paid we pulled an equity line out of $245,000 and expanded our portfolio to 40 units in 3 years. After gaining a lot of equity we sold it and have 1031 exchanged it into better cash flowing properties and diversified our portfolio.
