Would not recommend Lillian to others whatsoever. She was less than helpful on most of the process. Was present for the initial house hunting, but not always informative. I felt rushed by her on finding something since she was about to leave for vaca...

Response from Lillian Wendricks on 8/3/2021

I am devastated that you feel I let you down. Our recollection of the process is some what different. On May 29th I showed you 5 homes. Your favorite home did go under contract so although you were disappointed, you were new buyer and felt that you should continue looking. So we did and I had no problem with this. I showed you 3 more homes on June 2nd. On June 3rd you said you want to write an offer on one so I proceeded to my office and wrote the offer up according to the terms you wanted. Once the offer was prepared, I called you to go over it. You decided you did not want that home. I said, no worries, lets cover some other house keep items. We went over these items but you did not want to sign them. But these items had nothing to do with an offer on that home. In the mean time, I was diligent on my email and the home you fell in love with came back on the market within minutes of us ending that conversation. I called, texted and emailed you about it within seconds of learning this. Immediately we wrote the offer and negotiated the terms by 6/4/2021. I never rushed you or pressured you...you did want this home. In fact, I had already talked to a collegue about working with you on my behalf in my absense. On 6/4/2021 I got you an insurance quote for you to compare other quotes to as well and I emailed you a "Congratulations, you are under contract letter" which layed out your next steps. On 6/5/2021 I went back to the home with you so you could Facetime your family the home. The seller was there and gave us a very thorough walk through of the home. This happened to work out for you as he also sold you personal items that you felt you needed. Since personal items are not part of the contract, this was worked out between you both. I do believe we were there for about 2 1/2 hours. 6/9 I emailed the contract to your lender. The home inspection was done on 6/14. The termite inspection was done on 6/18 and I emailed it to your lender. The septic inspection was done on 6/19. From the results of the home inspection and the septic inspection we discussed the results (yes I was in California). I wrote up your request and emailed it to the sellers agent on 6/20. On 6/21, we talked about the repairs the seller was willing to do and not do. You asked me what your options were and I explained them to you. You decided to move forward with the home. I also explained to you how you could remedy a few repairs for a minimal amount of money on your own to keep the cost down. On July 11th we text about the accuracy of the CD, if the septic had been emptied, how you would pay your closing cost and a potential walk through for Tuesday. The walk thru date did not work for you or the seller. So based on my schedule I asked a collegue to do the final walk through for me with you the night prior to closing. She let me know your were satisfied with everything. Then the next day she attended the closing with you since I could not be there. However we had already talked about the amount you had to bring and the payment method. So, I guess I am not sure where I let you down. And would welcome a direct conversation so I can make sure I do an excellent job for all.
