    I was shocked when I saw this remark, my first reaction is: who posted this false and malicious remark? Then I remember the couple being denied by the co op board TWO YEARS ago(I still have their information). First and foremost, I feel sorry for this couple for losing the apartment they loved after being denied by the co-op board. I’ve always maintained a clear and consistent process when working with potential buyers or agents on co-op transactions. I make it a point to explain the board’s requirements in detail, and I always offer to review the application before it is submitted to the board to help ensure everything is in order and complete. Unfortunately, in this case, the couple declined my offer to review their application package. This situation was out of my control, and it is one of only a few cases—just three out of my over 100 applications—that were denied by the board. In all such cases, denials occurred because buyers either misrepresented their financial situation or failed to provide the documentation as outlined in the VAC Purchase Application or extra document requested by the board.
