I understand why you are upset, but wanted to explain further. First of all, as I disclosed to you, I NEVER represent both Buyers and Sellers in the same transaction because neither party gets full representation - so while you find it odd, it's the truth and many other agents feel the same, as does any attorney I've ever met. You also need to know that the seller is not legally obligated to disclose what happened there, and that they specifically instructed me not to share that information. That's why I was only able to state that the previous Buyer had gotten cold feet - which was true. And while I was moved by your situation and would have liked to work with you, the Seller is my client, and I have a fiduciary responsibility to abide by the their explicit instructions, so my hands were tied. That's why I told you it's important to have your own agent, representing YOUR best interests.
