I perfectly understand your position. It seems your realtor didn’t tell you that the title company never ordered the lien search. As investor, you can comprehend when you are buying a home you need to make sure the title is completely clean, and there’s no liens and/or judgments. The closing date extension never was granted. The only reason the transaction didn’t close was because of negligence from the title company you picked.
