Unfortunately, the property this customer is referring to WAS NOT my personal listing. Per text messages with him, the travel was supposed to be communicated beforehand and the listing went under contract while he was in route. I offered to still show it as a backup offer because he was already on the way and possibly look at any other options to make the best of the trip. I also offered to do a video tour to avoid the long trip from the beginning. I suggested putting an offer in with a contingency of looking at it when he arrived to avoid someone else getting it under contract which was declined. Our last message, he was asking about making an offer if the other fell through. Unfortunately, this customer doesn't understand the market or the value of communication. I wish him the best in finding a home and apologize this one didn't work out for him. Please consider speaking with me or reviewing factual text messages before you believe a review and customer that could have avoided all of it if they had listened to an experienced Realtor from the beginning.
