I wanted to take this opportunity to respond to Rebekah's review. I have been in business for over 24 years, this is my first poor review on Zillow, and I am sorry she felt her expectations were not met, but by now I should know, you can't please everyone. I did send Rebekah a Buyers agency agreement before our visit and did explain that it was only binding for the one property. Clearly written on the form it states it has a 180 day extension, but again, only if she were to purchase that particular house. She had ample opportunity to review it and ask me any questions about it. She is correct in saying I showed her the listing (actually waited 45 minutes because she was late), then I took her friends through the house because they were waiting in the car. I have multiple texts back and forth with her, answering any questions, I am not a pushy agent, so I was giving her the time to get her financing together. I even gave her some bank contacts, just in case she wanted a different opinion. She asked me if I had inspector referrals, contractor referrals, and if she could get in again the weekend I was away,(I set it up with someone from my office, no problem). Rebekah's attitude seemed to change when she found out I was going on vacation, not sure how that would affect our dealings, I could text, email, and talk, expect when I was on the plane. Actually I communicated numerous times while I was on my trip. Contracts are created for a reason, and I am sorry that she felt like she was trapped. but yes, just like everyone else with a job, I do want to get paid for my hard work and due dilegence. I do work very hard for all my buyers and sellers, and do always have their best interest in mind at all times, and try to make this very stressful experience as smooth and seamless as possible.
