The Sellers, whom I knew personally, asked me to look at their townhome in August of 2016. They wanted to move and were trying to decide between selling and renting their property. I gave them my professional opinion that they would not be able to net the number they were looking for in a sale and renting might be a better solution for another year. They ended up hiring another agent who did in fact list it for what they had wanted. Three months later that listing was cancelled. They then listed with a limited services company. 12 months after meeting with me they sold their home for $34,000 less than they wanted. This is a very tough business and every day I get up and do my best. I am honest with people and they don’t always like what I have to say. However, to take the time one year later and to come to Zillow and trash me when I NEVER REPRESENTED this seller, is in itself an example of the type of people that make this business so challenging.
