I was born and raised in Southern California. After completing my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside, I began my life of service by enlisting in the United States Army. As a combat medic, I served my fellow soldiers as well as my country. I eventually obtained my commission and went on to lead a platoon of soldiers.
