This was a very sad situation, after a very short time of ownership, so underwater scenario was possible. This transaction was a difficult one for all involved. I was able to negotiate a sales price over the break even point, over many comps in the neighborhood, even though they owned the property for such a short time. Successful transaction, but loaded with emotions & difficulties. Considering their sad situation, I didn't take their angry comments personally.
