I’ve called southeast Kansas home for most of my adult life. My grandparents farmed east of Coffeyville, and my parents owned a photography studio in Independence where I worked for 17 years.

My late husband Lee and I raised our family on a few quiet acres in the country. His profession was construction; we enjoyed owning and remodeling several homes and properties together.
