This was an unfortunate relationship. He asked us to clean and prepare his home for rent as he had only a week to prepare for relocation. We did so immediately, even over Easter weekend, and had the place cleaned, prepared and rented in roughly 3 weeks. We were surprised weeks later that he felt he shouldn't have to pay the lady who cleaned the place or the carpet cleaners because he had not agreed in writing to have it done, only verbally. Because of this and other "miscommunications" we initiated an email only communication channel, the first time in 30 years in business we have done so. The emails were frequent sometimes multiple times a day. It was frustrating for him that we would not call him in the evenings after hours and over the weekends as he demanded. Of course we all have cell phones, but we don't hand out our private cell phone numbers to everyone.
