I know it is hard losing out on an apartment you have your heart set on. Unfortunately, I can only select one applicant for each apartment and the Grandview market is highly competitive. I do my best to offer alternative / upcoming units to approved applicants that are not selected for a particular unit but I cannot guarantee or hold an apartment without a signed lease and security deposit. An opportunity to see an apartment that has not yet been listed on advertising sites is an advantage but I get calls and emails daily from people like yourself looking for apartments in the area and I will always direct them to view upcoming units. In your case it seems someone must have viewed the unit or possibly had an application that was being processed but had not been approved yet at that moment but was then approved before you were ready to commit to the unit which means I again had to choose between the applications. I understand not being selected for 2 units was very frustrating and I am sorry you had a bad experience.
