Property managers do not decide the deposit amount, the Landlords do. Tenant has to pay rent from the lease start date. Move in can be a different date. There were other applications and you were informed that the landlord is looking for earlier move in date. Property Managers do not benefit from charging more rent. We are on flat rate. Not moving utilities to your name is not okay, i had to hang up because that simple request made you upset. If tenant does not log in to the portal and does not put work orders in, they are tough to tend to. I still tried to help by getting tenant in group text with the vendor who can fix the issues. But we can not help if you think your phone is for personal use and your home, the roof over your head is a business'. To date tenant has not logged in to the portal , nor has given the permission to enter. Blocking property manager's number because they requested you to the move utilities to your name is unprofessional on your part.
