Hi Luis, I’m truly sorry you feel this way. I want to clarify that you were never officially denied, in fact, your application was still under consideration. You had only submitted preliminary paperwork, and we hadn’t yet reached the stage of pulling credit or final screening. At the owner’s request, we were continuing to show the apartment and had planned to review all applicants, including yours, starting next week. I sincerely apologize for missing your last text, it got buried under a large volume of renter inquiries, which isn’t an excuse, but I wish you had followed up again before posting this review. Communication is incredibly important to me, and I always do my best to respond in a timely and professional manner. It does seem clear that this may not be the right fit, and that’s okay. However, I do want to mention that leaving a public review based on a misunderstanding, especially when the process hadn’t yet finalized, could be concerning to an owner. They may wonder how future issues would be addressed, for example, whether you’d reach out to the owner first before escalating to a third party. At the end of the day, the final decision lies with the owner, not me, but I always aim to treat every applicant with transparency and respect. In all of our previous text exchanges, I’m sure you see that. Wishing you and your siblings the best in their housing search. God bless you.
