I grew up in Queens, New York City where I earned a Division 1A scholarship to the University AT Buffalo. During my time at Buffalo,  I completed my B.A in Sociology. Shortly after playing 3 years of professional football in the AFL and CFL  I then attended Canisius College, where I finished my M.A in Physical Education.
