I am Bea Walker, and I have lived in the Laurens and Lake Greenwood area
for all of my life. I grew up spending weekends on Lake
Greenwood. My grandfather was a game warden who worked this area, and my
family spent much time on Lake Greenwood in my early years. Later, my
father purchased a store, now Lee's Barbecue, and although I grew up in Laurens
