Bill hails from Franklin Indiana where while in school he was involved in the 4-H, Future Farmers of America, and Marching Band. After high school, he joined the Navy and served with the 1st Battalion 1st Marine Division of the Marine Corps as a Field Hospital Corpsman. During is enlistment Bill was deployed with his Battalion and participated in the Persian Gulf War Campaign to liberate Kuwait.
