Barbara Jean Campbell is a lifelong native of the MS Gulf Coast.  She is a local girl through and through. 
     Her great grandfather, founded Long Beach in the late 1800's and to this day has many streets named after various family members.  He left properties to the city to be used as schools and a local church.  He also gave his own land to the college on the beach now known as Southern where he once resided.
