    The individual that wrote this review is not my client. I had not met nor spoken to this individual at any point during this entire home purchase process. These are the factual chain of events that as Paul Harvey says, is “the rest of the story.” (1) Buyer made a written offer, and it was accepted by the Seller. 08/24/23 (2) Buyer and Seller agreed to seven days for Buyer to perform any-and-all inspections that they desired. Those inspections commenced on 09/01/23. (3) On 09/04/23 at 10:54am the Buyer agreed by signature to the Seller’s proposal that included both a monetary adjustment and additional work to be done. That concluded the Buyer/Seller’s inspections and negotiations. (4) The morning of 09/18/23 the Buyer’s agent made a request for additional inspections, but Inspections were contractually completed and agreed upon a full two weeks prior. This is where the friction seems to have begun. Not with the Buyer, but unfortunately with the Buyer’s agent. The contract called for seven days for inspections and the Buyer fully received 100% of that time not to mention a generous negotiation on additional repairs on an already remodeled home not to mention additional money. (5) The buyer’s agent persisted and insisted with a bullying attitude, that I have in writing, that they MUST be allowed to do additional inspection(s) but because the inspection period had expired over two weeks prior, the seller declined, which I must say, is totally normal! In order to avoid unnecessary conflict in an otherwise win-win deal for everyone involved, I advised that the buyer’s agent consider reviewing the account with her broker and her response was, “What do I need to talk to my broker about…” I unfortunately cannot quote the remainder of what she said for legal reasons but she also threatened to tell her client to walk away from the agreement even if they lose their considerable earnest money. Seriously, who makes threats like that with people’s lives on the line?!?! (6) Now here’s the clincher, I also have evidence that the inspection they requested actually did take place as I have photos. So, what that means is that the Buyer and Buyer’s agent colluded and entered the property illegally to conduct the inspection and by doing so also breached the contract on several accounts by doing so over and beyond the illegal entry. What was the Seller’s response? Nothing! He just wanted to go with the flow and try to make everyone happy as best I can even when I’m having illegal activities take place on my property. So yes, the dealings between this person’s agent and I were not great. But that’s how this business is many times, we negotiate for a living, It’s emotional, it’s stressful, it’s intense, it’s got friction, etc. So, the implications written above that attack my persona have nothing to do with me personally, but this is a situation where another agent and their client were NOT communicating (or whatever you want to call it) and I’m the one getting thrown under the bus. Hey, it happens. No hard feelings, but I felt it was appropriate to post a response.
