I was born and raised in Birmingham and still call it my home today. After graduating in 2008 with a degree in economics from the University of Alabama, I served the Birmingham community through Americorp's partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Then I returned to Tuscaloosa as a project manager for Habitat for Humanity after the devastating tornadoes tore through in Spring 2011.
