Chris grew up on military bases as the second oldest of eight children, becoming enamored with the Cape when his family would regularly make the two-hour drive to visit both sets of grandparents. One set lived on a cranberry bog in Orleans, the other just off the beach in Wellfleet. His family eventually settled at the Cape when he was 11 and he's lived there ever since (but for a ten year stretch in Pennsylvania).
