I started working in real estate shortly after purchasing my first home. My interest was captured as I spoke with my realtor about the career. This all happened after returning home from my deployment to Iraq. I knew I had to do something different that fall before returning to school to finish my teaching degree at Messiah College. I ended up taking the classes in late 2009 and attained my professional real estate license in early 2010.
