Unfortunately, David advised my Husband and I to purchase a home in 2022 with no contingency (basically as-is). I always look out for my clients and protecting them is what I do best. The undisclosed issues you are referring to was mold found in the home after you moved in. I recommended a home inspector, that I have used over 150 times, to the Jordans and they insisted on using their own inspector. My first level of protecting my clients is recommending inspectors and other real estate professionals that are proven experts in their field. I had never heard of their inspector and recommended several times to use mine, they refused. Their inspector did not find, nor mention any fungal growth in the home. For some reason the Jordans think that a Realtor is not responsible for inspecting a home. In no way shape or form is a Realtor responsible for inpecting a home. I tried explaining this to the Jordans and that they may have a case against their inspector. For anyone reading this and working with a Realtor or planning to work with a Realtor, my advice is to use the real estate professionals that they recommend. I have closed over 1,000 homes in my career and this is the first client in 24 years that has had an issue and also the first client that did not use my recommended inspector.
