My move to the Pocono Mountains in 1980 allowed me to pursue a dream of owning a business, a deli/restaurant and enjoy the great outdoors:  hiking, fishing, skiing, kayaking and gardening.  Inspired by the natural beauty of the area, I pursued another passion, art, becoming an award winning artist, writing and illustrating a picture book for children to fight bullying, encouraging them to stand up for themselves.
