They meet the owners of the property, and the owners were not impressed. They choose someone else, (not a friend of mine). I understand they were disappointed but the attitude in the above paragraph was the attitude that came across to the owners of the house. The owners had a right to choose, I thought they would be good tenants but picked someone else.
