Native to the State of Washington I have had the privilege to live in and experience all of the great geographical features one may not find anywhere else - the ocean, the mountains, arid deserts, rolling farm lands, thick and lush rain forests, dormant snow-capped volcanoes (one in my lifetime not so dormant!)...and the list goes on!  Washington has it all!  I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
