Jason Kappenman was born and raised in beautiful Eugene, OR. After Graduating from Sheldon High School in 1990, he joined the US NAVY. Jason served on the USS Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier in the gulf in 1990, and was deployed again to Bosnia in 1993. Jason was stationed at NAS Whidbey Island in Washington between deployments.
