South Boston is Very close to Boston and on the water. That may be a place to start.
There is less land (yard space) than Scituate or Cohasset etc... but closer to Boston and more reasonably priced.
Quincy is still close to Boston and part of the town is on the water. (Squantum, part of Quincy, very community feel)
I will give it more thought, but the $700,000k range seems rea...
