Thank you for sharing your concerns. I’m sorry the interaction felt confusing. To clarify, I was at the property with buyers, touring the house with a young child. Although the listing agent may have permitted a quick drive-by, we cannot allow anyone inside or on the property during another buyer’s appointment, even with a vacant home. I also tried to explain the state-required agency disclosure that must be completed before any showing — but completing it would not have changed the fact that the property could not be accessed at that time. We always strive to follow NC regulations, protect our buyers’ appointments, and respect the seller’s instructions. We wish you the best in your home search and are happy to assist in the future when a property is available for showing.
