Katie and Andrew I sincerely want to thank you for the review. We put in three offers each time you said you wanted to write up an offer I kindly told you that I would call you when I was writing it up to talk to you about it, never placing any pressure to make a quick decision or making you write it right there. Katie you did state that your husband didn't feel this way in our email correspondence so I am confused why it became part of the review. Negotiations are different for each house and each seller. Each offer was written up according to what you felt was a fair offer. If you truly felt that 20k less than list price with closing costs is not a fair negotiation on the first house we put an offer on then I wish you would have told me. I can understand that everyone wants a deal. You have to look at the bigger picture not just what price you got off the list price. You ended up saving yourself $15,000 buying this house versus the house down the street you put an offer on.
