Kirk grew up playing baseball, sailing, and surfing in Southwest Florida. After earning an Economics degree in central Florida, he visited a friend in Santa Barbara in 1985. and was immediately enamored with the beauty of the area. In 1987 with a job offer in hand, Kirk made the move from Florida to Santa Barbara.
Kirk married a local Carpinterian in 1996, and together they have three wonderful children, all born in Santa Barbara. For many years...
