The statement that I’m careless and “left all the doors unlocked after an open house” is simply not true. This seller didn’t allow Open Houses, so I coordinated a neighborhood Broker Open. After one of the Realtors got locked in his garage, I unlocked the door leading from the home into the garage assuming it was accidently locked behind her. I apologized and assured him it wouldn’t happen again. This seller sent me a written request stating, “if it isn’t too much trouble I prefer feedback not done at all”. I continued to request feedback and worked diligently with agents to sell the property. Thanks to unparalleled exposure and stunning professional photography that I provided, this home received a tremendous amount of online activity. Unfortunately, this is a classic case of External Obsolescence because the home is located on the corner of one of the busiest roads in the county. This seller understood, in the beginning, it would take longer to sell his home.
