Growing up on a working farm in southern Virginia. 'slopping' pigs, milking cows, gathering eggs, weeding gardens, and putting up hay was our "summer vacation". As such, I am not opposed to hard work.
Upon turning 18, I moved to Los Angeles, California. A few years and few hard knocks later, I missed my family so I moved back east. I have lived and worked in the Washington DC/ Baltimore metro area for more than 25 years.
