    The buyer found out there had been a fire in the property only minutes after he saw the property. I showed him the property as a favor to another agent who was out of town. He texted me after I left the showing, and said he had talked to the neighbor, and they told him there had been a fire in the property. He asked me to write up an offer, which I did, and he signed it and subsequently went under contract on the property on 6/28/2021. I requested a copy of the Fire Marshal's report, and emailed it to the buyer on July 1, 2021, three days after his offer was accepted. There was an inspection performed, and the inspector noted there had been a fire at the property. There were no findings by this inspector that were noted as an issue from the fire. The buyer had a 10 day inspection period to have any inspections he wanted. I continued to assist this buyer, even after his agent returned. I answered every call, text and email he sent to me. After the closing, he contacted me and asked if his neighbors had taken the bananas from the trees in the backyard. He also texted me photos of his grass about a month after closing and said it was dead. He purchased a property in a HOA, so I suggested he contact the president (there are only 4 properties in the HOA), and make sure the sprinklers were working properly. He never mentioned anything about the fire. The Seller's Disclosures are not required to be in writing, and if he felt the seller did not disclose the fire, he should take this up with her. I did not send him this property, and found out about the fire after he did. I did tell him he had the right to cancel the contract during the 10 day inspection period, and that was in writing, and he signed that contract. His interpretation of my actions during this purchase are inaccurate and untrue.
