Michael was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended Cretin-Derham Hall for high school, where he was a three sport athlete. He then went on to play college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he holds every wide receiver record to this day. He graduated in 2012 with a degree in Sociology.
