Born and raised in Ashland, WI, Mike came to Menomonie in 2004 to attend UW-Stout for a Business Administration Degree and Minor in Property Management.

While finishing his time at Stout, he met his wife, Kira. After graduation, they realized how much they loved Menomonie and decided to stay here. They were married on Stout's campus in 2016 and introduced their first child, Summer, in 2020.
