I represented this couple from California during the market of Spring 2021 when prices were surging and sellers were getting from 20-50 offers on their homes. Buyers needed strong down payments. I referred this couple to a mortgage lender who indicated it would be difficult if not impossible to qualify them and they did not have a large enough down payment to compete in that market. I refer all clients to mortgage companies to work out the finances. That is between the mortgage company and the client.
