Never met this person, never rented to him, never sold anything to him, never represented him in ANY deal. IF he put in an application for one of our rentals BEFORE he called me, (which the AD clearly states to do), he was not "chastised", but told (as we tell everyone), NOT to put in an application PRIOR to speaking to me..this is to save any potential renter the cost of the application fee. If potential renters don't see the apartment first, we don't accept their applications. This guy whoever he is, didn't see anything or have a conversation with anyone on my team. I don't "critique methods" for applying since Zillow is THE method we use and that's the ONLY method we use. This fine fellow isn't from here and has no idea how competitive the Boulder rental market is. Sorry Bud.
