Public Reviews are extremely important and vital to the protection of the public in Real Estate. Over 20 years working along side public and government agencies I have 100% conviction to putting the customer first in all my affairs. Pertaining to the erroneous story above. The Facts are the Owner of the Homes chose to Sell the House and I was given the "LISTING" the above tenant was given notice before hand and had no problem with the situation at the time and I was working with her to re-located her a new property to lease. During the process she became disgruntle due to not being able to locate the quality home that she lived in that was for sale. During this time there were several attempts to Show the home legal 24 hours notices were put on the door and she would commit and then not answer door and used her children as a tool for the wedge game activator. She was accomodated over and over again. Her husband not only threatened my existence, but came to my private residence. Multiple times I explained to them that I am the agent for the Listing and transaction I am not the owner and while they have grievances and am doing my fiduciary responsibility and I will follow all code, industry guidelines and fair housing mandates. A Sale eventually did occur in spite of the underhanded ways that the tenant handle the situation. Further after move out there were items needing repair the notice to return deposit was sent in the timely manner and the Landlord did send a check to the address they had left and it came to her Return to Sender and finally that got straightened out. I addressed this to the above previous tenant and told her I have no control of the owner nor the postal system and while it is frustrating this is a situation between her and the owner. In the end I was the fall guy in the story and when you hold a position of public opinion. I believe each person is generally good and we do the best to support the public. In rare cases even when the highest and best is done there is no solving a situation . as for greed all my customers never pay admin fee, application fees that are erroneous . I choose to pay them from commission as I believe an agent is given a lot of trust and the added broker fees and such are means to add dollars to a financial statement for investor purposes. I am in the business to support and please one customer at a time. it is a true shame that attacking a persons integrity for doing a honorable job sometimes occurs.
