I was born and raised in Mitchell, SD. I Joined the South Dakota Army National Guard while in high school and then attended the University of South Dakota where I graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. Most recently, I worked full time as an Officer with the Army National Guard including a deployment to Iraq.
