Steve Prater grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, with the true spirit of an entrepreneur. At the young age of seventeen, he owned his first business. He has been proudly self-employed ever since. From 2000-2006, he worked as a stock broker and financial advisor, refining the skills necessary to take on his current position as the president of his family's furniture business in Granbury, a business that was established in 1981.
